Day 1 – Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka – Draa Valley – Tamgroute – M’hamid

Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic photo stops over Berber villages and mountain valleys. Continue to the beautiful Draa Valley oasis, famous for its palm groves, kasbahs and ancient ksour, and stop for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Tamgroute pottery workshops, well known for traditional green ceramic handicraft. Continue to M’hamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Dinner and overnight in a desert lodge in M’hamid.

Day 2 – M’hamid – Camel trek with nomad team

After an early breakfast, meet your professional local nomad team and start your camel trekking and desert walking experience into the wild M’hamid Sahara. Walk through remote sand dunes, desert plains and old caravan routes, enjoying a true off-the-beaten-path desert adventure and excellent desert photography opportunities. Day 4 – M’hamid – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, drive back through the scenic Draa Valley and desert villages. Visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and legendary film location in Morocco. After lunch, cross the High Atlas again via Tizi n’Tichka Pass and return to Marrakech in the evening.
