Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and meet your private driver/guide. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a gentle walk through the old medina to capture lively street scenes, colorful souks, and rooftop views at sunset. This first day is all about warming up your camera and getting inspired by Morocco’s vibrant atmosphere. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate (High Atlas crossing)

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way for panoramic photography of mountain villages, winding roads, and dramatic landscapes. Continue toward Ouarzazate, known for its desert light and cinematic scenery. In the afternoon, explore the area and photograph kasbah silhouettes and wide desert horizons. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Drive through oasis towns and desert plains toward the spectacular Dades Valley. Along the route, stop for photos of palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and dramatic rock formations. In Dades, capture the famous winding roads, deep gorges, and warm evening light over the valley. Overnight in a guesthouse surrounded by nature.

Day 4: Dades – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Continue toward Merzouga, passing desert towns and wide open landscapes perfect for travel photography. By afternoon, arrive at the edge of the Sahara. Ride camels or 4×4 into the dunes and photograph golden sands during sunset. Spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying star photography and peaceful silence.

Day 5: Merzouga Full Day in the Dunes

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes — one of the highlights of the tour. Today is dedicated entirely to desert photography: sweeping dune patterns, nomad scenes, small oasis areas, and portraits in soft natural light. Enjoy a relaxed pace with plenty of time to explore different angles and compositions. Second night in Merzouga or desert camp.

Day 6: Merzouga – Agdz (Draa Valley)

Leave the Sahara and travel west through the beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its long palm groves and traditional villages. Stop frequently for photos of mud-brick kasbahs, river valleys, and daily life scenes. Arrive in Agdz in the afternoon and enjoy sunset photography overlooking the oasis. Overnight in Agdz.

Day 7: Agdz – Marrakech (End of Tour)

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Marrakech, crossing changing landscapes from desert to mountains. Final photo stops along the way before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Transfer to your riad or airport — end of your 7-day Morocco photography adventure.
